  • The Mandarin Learning Support (MLS) program is based entirely on the materials you provide (e.g., your school textbooks, HSK prep books, work documents, etc.). Linguabox does not supply additional materials for this program, ensuring the lesson stays 100% focused on your specific needs.

  • No, MLS is designed to help you with your existing workload. Your instructor will focus on clarifying your materials and filling knowledge gaps, rather than assigning new homework.

  • While MLS requires student-provided materials for instruction, we are happy to help you get started!

    If you are a beginner, we can guide you by suggesting appropriate textbooks, workbooks, or digital resources that match your learning goals. Once you have acquired your material, your instructor will use it to provide personalized support.

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours' advance notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. All requests must be processed exclusively through the ClassIn chat feature. Failure to provide timely notification will result in the class being marked as attended.

    Each purchased standard MLS package permits a maximum of two (2) cancellations in total.

  • Because the MLS program is entirely material-driven, your instructor will not be able to provide new curriculum or materials. If you arrive without the necessary resources, the class will still be held and can be used for general conversational practice or review based on prior knowledge. However, the class will be marked as attended, as your instructor has reserved the time for you.

  • All MLS lessons (including trials) take place on the professional online classroom platform, ClassIn. We use ClassIn because it provides a stable, interactive environment with specialized tools for seamless online learning, scheduling, and communication.

    Since your ClassIn ID is needed for the MLS trial registration, a free ClassIn account must be registered before you sign up for your trial class.

  • Yes, you will generally have a fixed teacher. However, in order to guarantee smooth scheduling and address unforeseen circumstances, Linguabox reserves the right to change the teacher if necessary.

    If you feel the instructor is not the right fit, you also have the flexibility to request a teacher reassignment after both trial classes have been completed.

  • The trial package is a great deal, but it does have an expiry! It must be used within thirty (30) days of the purchase date. Standard MLS packages are valid for six (6) months.

  • Unfortunately, no. The 50% off trial price (HKD 80/class) is a special one-time offer for the introductory two-class trial package only.
